The grip is the very foundation upon which every golf swing is built. A correct grip allows your wrists and arms to move naturally, creating consistency, power, and precision.

How to Take a Correct Golf Grip

  1. Lead Hand: Place handle diagonally across palm and fingers. See about two knuckles looking down.
  2. Trail Hand: Grip primarily with fingers. Palm covers lead thumb.
  3. Pressure: Firm enough for control, relaxed enough for wrist flexibility.
  4. Alignment: Both thumbs and index fingers form Vs pointing toward trail shoulder.
