Professional golfers move slow

I wanted to share an observation that I've made regarding the pace at which professional and amateur golfers approach their shots, particularly noticeable at the driving range.

Professional golfers take almost twice as long as amateurs to hit the same number of balls on the driving range.

The pros invest considerable time in preparing for each shot. This preparation includes focusing on their grip, stance, alignment, and posture, along with rehearsing the shot in their mind, plus watching the entire flight of the golf ball. This detailed process ensures that every aspect of the shot is optimized for the best possible outcome.

Observe how Rory McIlroy handles his practice session on the driving range, paying special attention to the pace at which he takes his shots.
