He began his career as a caddy at Austin Country Club in the 1920s and went on to become head coach of the University of Texas golf team. Ben Crenshaw: Gentle Ben

Ben Crenshaw won 19 PGA Tour events, including two Masters championships in 1984 and 1995. Known for his elegant swing and unmatched ability to read greens, Crenshaw earned the nickname 'Gentle Ben.' After retiring, he continued contributing to golf as a commentator and course designer.

Tom Kite: The Consistent Champion
